Located in South Central British Columbia, Christian Valley is a quiet rural valley

The view and scenery compare to and surpass many others in British Columbia.
The Kettle River runs along the front just below the property.
Been told that Christian Valley takes its name from two brothers who operated
a saw mill about 20 kilometers past us.

The Okanagan has short moderate winters with warm dry summers.
Average Temperatures from December to February are -4C nights, +4C days.
The word "windchill" is not in our dictionary. No blowing or drifting snow.
Our driveway was plowed 6 times in 2001, and the same in 2002.
We have had about 24 inches of snow total in 2001 and 2002
We have used about 3 cords of wood each winter, plus a small amount of propane.
Summer evenings are pleasantly cooler with plenty of fresh mountain air.
